Staff Meeting Policy

Regular staff meetings are an essential component of effective communication, professional development, and maintaining a cohesive, high-performing team. These meetings ensure that all staff members are informed, aligned with program expectations, and equipped to support the well-being and success of the children in our care.

Meeting Schedule

  • Mandatory staff meetings are held on theĀ second (2nd) Tuesday of each month.

  • Meetings may include, but are not limited to:

    • Required training

    • Policy and procedure updates

    • Licensing or regulatory information

    • Program operations and school-wide initiatives

  • If a scheduled meeting date must be changed, theĀ Director will notify staff in advanceĀ to allow for appropriate adjustments to personal schedules.


Attendance Requirements

  • Attendance at all scheduled staff meetings isĀ mandatory.

  • Employees areĀ paidĀ for time spent attending required staff meetings.

  • If a staff member is unable to attend, they mustĀ notify the Director as soon as possibleĀ and obtain approval in advance when feasible.


Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • MissingĀ two (2) staff meetings without prior approvalĀ will result in aĀ one (1) day suspension without pay.

  • Continued failure to attend required meetings may result inĀ additional disciplinary action, up to and includingĀ termination of employment.

  • Understand expectations, policies, and procedures

  • Remain aligned with program goals and standards

  • Are supported in their professional growth and teamwork
