🎯 Purpose
To ensure all teaching staff are effectively trained to implement the Young Innovators digital and classroom curriculum with fidelity. This SOP provides a structured process for curriculum orientation, modeling, coaching, and ongoing support to ensure instructional consistency and quality.
📌 Scope
This SOP applies to all new and existing lead teachers, assistant teachers, and instructional aides, and is carried out by center directors, assistant directors, and curriculum coaches.
🛠️ Procedures
1. Pre-Training Preparation

Confirm teacher access to the digital curriculum platform (username, login instructions, and tech orientation).

Set the training schedule and assign a mentor or coach if applicable.
2. Initial Curriculum Orientation (Week 1 of Employment)

Observe the teacher co-leading or independently leading lessons and provide immediate feedback.
4. Hands-On Practice & Planning Support

Provide structured planning time for the teacher to prepare their first full week of lessons.

Review and provide feedback on their lesson prep by Friday of each week.

Ensure materials are gathered, and all uploads are completed.
5. Ongoing Coaching and Feedback

Conduct weekly or bi-weekly check-ins during the teacher’s first 90 days.
