Objective
This SOP explains how school staff can create, customize, and schedule social media posts from the Marketing platform. It ensures posts are published consistently across connected channels and optimized for each platform.
Key Steps
1. Open the Marketing area and confirm connected accounts 0:00
- Log in to the platform and navigate to Marketing.
- Confirm that all required accounts are connected before creating a post:
- Email account
- Google My Business
- If any account is missing, stop and connect it before continuing.
2. Review the need for regular content updates 0:25
- Keep social media updated on a regular basis.
- Use school-created content to keep posts fresh and relevant.
- Plan to refresh content often so the schoolâs social channels stay active and current.

- Click New Post.
- Select the social media account(s) where the post should appear.
- Upload media files for the post.
- Organize content assets in advance so you can quickly choose the correct image or file.

- Use the platform icons to confirm where the post will publish:
- Google My Business icon
- Facebook icon
- Instagram icon
- Verify the correct channel is selected before writing or scheduling the post.

- Click the AI button and choose the option to generate content with AI.

- Enter the goal of the post.

- Paste the URL into the designated field and verify it is correct.

- If needed, invite collaborators to review or assist with the post.
